The Morganza Spillway in Louisiana has been opened. The Spillway will provide relief from the flooding Mississippi River which has the potential of devastating major cities like New Orleans and Baton Rouge. Several more rural areas will end up flooding because of the opening of the spillway. The relief was opened at 3pm to avert the flooding. Good luck Louisiana!
